I happen to agree with you.
One of the prices of having an open forum (or country) like this is that there will be occasional desenters, nasayers, crackpots, kooks, and extremists who are just waiting to have their personal "hot button" pressed. Joe could have set up this site so that ANY postings would require a displayed address from a confirmed, registered user and even require an annual fee for administering this site.
But he didn't. And I for one am glad. So if I have to read through a few occasional rants and character attacks, I consider it part of the privilage of having this site. I only hope that the good people who are on the receiving end of these attacks are big enough to consider the usually anonomous source of the attacks and the fact that it is the opinion of one person and does not represent anyone else on this forum. As far as Doug goes, I look forward to buying from him in the future.
