I guess this Dodge 1 ton W30 power wagon with the 318 is typical with respect to fuel consumption, but want to know if anyone out there knows any way to improve the mileage.
It has a two barrel carb, and I have heard that a different cam shaft can help
the chassis has only 34000 miles on it but the engine has many hours of idle time as it sat out in front of the fire hall waiting for a "RESCUE" call
I will tear the engine down next spring after I finish the snoe plow thingy, so that will be an appropriate time to look at fuel economy measures
