the long shaft snapping is so so common. So many other M37 owner’s have the same problem. There’s a reason why the military stocked them on the bench back in the day. Talk to Veterans. My truck isn’t a parade queen. I frequently drive off road
by far more long shafts have broken for me and among the military veterans.
VPW axles are much better than NOS. There over priced$ high strength ones are said to be 30% stronger, with no guarantee. Who knows?
