inner front axle oil seals

Hello again everyone. I have finally gotten the front axle totally cleaned up and ready for re-assembly. A question I have is, has anyone considered and/or ever doubled up on the inner axle oils seals? I know I've heard others say they have doubled them up on the transfer cases. I've taken a micrometer and measured the "lip" inside the axle housing behind the brass bushing. With the skinny replacement bushings (Napa CR14864), it appears two would fit.
