Yeah, I took my PW to three shops where I live:
- The first shop I asked the manager if they new how to separate the tie rod end from the knuckle, he suggested I take it somewhere else,
- The second shop said their computer didn't go back to 56, couldn't di it,
- Third shop, shop technicians looked at the knuckle for 30 minutes before telling me it was a 2.5 hour job.
Most shops today will probably destroy your tie rod end by using a fork to separate it from the knuckle.
Needless to say I bought my own toe gauge to do wheel alignments on my vehicles. Sale price going on the link.
