Dave, that's a great way to load an non-running truck with the snatch block and winch.
A few years back, I think someone on this forum, gave some very important tips on the use of snatch blocks like this. The key, I've tried to remember, is make sure your pulley is rated for the load or greater and make sure where it is anchored is secure with no doubt whatsoever. The last thing you want is a missile launch!
