there are less and less buyers looking for stock vehicles past a certain age. Sure there is a lot of vehicles where stock increases the value, but I do not think it makes much difference in the PW world.
Just do not hack up the body or do low quality work and you should be fine going either route.
Not sure I would ever think of one of these as an investment. Short of a stocker that I could give a bath and resell most of this stuff is just a money pit
