1/2 the gas stations have lp here now
i have both systems
a gasoline tank and a propane tank
not sure what i have but going to check into it
push a button and it switches to lp
push it again and it switches back to gasoline
always starts on gasoline then when the button is in lp mode the lp kicks in as the rpms go up
i do have the problem with the motor dieing coming to a stop and the rpms die fast
i have learned to brake with the left foot and keep the rpms up a tad coming to a stop with the right foot
one of these days going to the lp teck to see if he can solve the problem
new throttle control and the rpms go to 600 at idle which must be to low for the lp and it seems like it tries to switch back to gasoline and then dies or just not enuff rpm to keep sucking the lp
600 is the correct rpm for the ram!!!??
