This 1964 W200 Dodge Power Wagon was surplussed in 1968 by the Sacramento Water District. I am the second owner since, and I have all the records on it. It gets driven weekly if not daily, as intended. This summer it went from Walnut Creek to San Jose with trailer in traffic and triple digit heat, and pulled a Jeep over Henness Pass/ the Sierras and back over Donner Summit over highway 80. Yes, it runs well and reliably. It cruises comfortably at 65 MPH, but will easily do 70 in the fast lane if needs be. It will easily keep up with just about any truck on the trail, and the PTO Braden LU-2 Winch works great.

No power/automatic anything, just rugged simplicity.

LA318 V8/ 4 speed/ divorced NP T case/ Dana HD44 Severe Service axle, 60 rear, the heaviest you could get on a W 200.
New/ rebuilt parts in the last ten years: Front axle fully torn down, rebuilt, brakes, clutch, seat, alternator, carb, fuel pump, full exhaust system, radiator, shocks, tires( comes with 5 super rare high clearance 19.5's, and 5 900-16's on powder coated rims) full set of tire chains.

It needs a headlight switch, and will need a starter rebuild soon. I am flexible somewhat on the price, but be serious, and know what it takes to get any old vehicle to this level. Yes, I am sure there are cheaper trucks listed, go look at those first. It will not be as comfortable as your new diesel for over the road. No, I will not sell the rare parts off it separately. Text or call and I am happy to answer any questions, or send more pics. Will consider trades partial or full for pre 1965 1.5 ton or larger 4x4 or 6x6 trucks
