Well, Friday harbor would be really easy for me. (I live pretty close to the Ferry terminal.) But you don't have to drive on the interstates. I drive all over and don't go on interstates.
Google maps has an option to avoid interstates and that gives all sorts of interesting options to check out for route planning. There are many hidden burger places in this state.
