like it was said the shaft is part of the box, but the column is just stuck fast to the bottom of the box. DONT CUT please. The column or cover is just stuck fast to the box. Take your time and free it up. if it has a electric fuel pump you may cut that up in a zillion pieces. O the steering wheel must be off No cutting please
