Problem is George uses 3 ring forged very expensive pistons.
That said, I’d love to hear his opinion just that I was assembling the engine on Saturday & everyone was closed.
I put the oil ring in the bottom groove after seeing the larger slot behind that ring. Still not sure if it’s right or wrong but it was the best guess I could come up with on short notice. Unless someone can convince me why it’s a bad idea I’m going with it! :)
