I recall some of our conversations on the subject now that you mentioned that. Ours are kind of unique with all of the changes that were to take place, but that hadn't quite happened yet.
Mine had a heater, but it was a generic one with odd mounting. I guess I have never looked for a date code on it...I should order the build card to see if it was factory installed. Maybe yours with the new style heater was the final straw that prompted someone to say, "We need to do something about this to make the job easier."
It would be great if we could ever have the chance to get the two trucks side-by-side someday.
