Definitely going with a wood floor, with satin stainless bed strips. I'm leaning toward using Ipe because it ages to a nice silver gray (like teak) with no maintenance, but it's only available in 1x6, so I need to figure out how to join it together for the 2 wider side boards (it doesn't glue well). What does white oak look like as it weathers? Red oak turns gray/black and I don't care for that.
