The part number is CC#844621. Found in the 1943 master parts book SNL G-657, page 333. At the back of the parts book there is a numerical index and price list. When looking up the part number there is a small black square next to the part number which denotes at the bottom of the page that this part is found on Commercial and Government vehicles. I would venture to guess that in civilan truck use, the grill could be found on flatbed, logging and dump trucks. Hope this info helps you out.
