Christmas will be very low key this year at our house. We had a memorial last night at my home for my dad who would have been 92 today. Most of you know he passed 3 weeks ago. There were a few damp eyes but mostly lots of laughs and joy as his 3 kid and wives, 8 grand-kids and wives and 3 great grand-kids were there to talk about how he was a part of their lives. A few of his "tasteless" jokes were told that all of had heard many, many times. RIP Dad. My wife gave me the morning off from watching my Mom and I spent it working on the truck. I took verified the timing marks to the pointer with a new dial indicator, I set the dwell with my 70s sears dwell meter. Measured vacuum with a gauge I have seldom used but have had forever. Checked and adjusted timing, with my fairly new battery powered timing light. took her for a test drive just as it started to drizzle (Electric wiper motors but the arms aren't on yet). Honked the horn at a few admirers. parked it in the garage and took a 2 hours nap. The truck is great therapy. Next week I will post my results for those of you who would like to offer opinions.
