I agree, but of course, it will be hard to be sure I've found the tightest spot without taking numerous measurements all over each journal. All I did was take measurements at "zero" (what I arbitrarily called zero) and 90 degrees from that, at two places lengthwise along each journal (a total of four measurements for each journal), although I repeated the measurements several times for those journals that looked problematic. It's unlikely that I found the worst spots.
