Well, Marty.....this is a world of untruths, or modified truths. "Once upon a time", those really were "new", and now they are "old", and certainly they are "stock".
It's like the term "organic'. It always meas something, but it doesn't always mean what we would like it to mean.
I like the term "farm raised" salmon. :)
