I have been kicking around the idea, yes Joe, of putting a 251 in the wc12

I've got a line or two out there, a few rebuilt but incomplete (no manifolds/no distributors)
Arghhh some of the hardest pieces to acquire

Have another line on a 251 Canadian from an m37. Price right (I guess) but distance and I know it will need "freshening up" with the low compression numbers
Andvit too needs a different distro right off and the exhaust manifold cracked. So much for priced right eh?

Seen this industrial on nearby CL and asking about it. And yes the pics show some sort of pump attached to front so I just don't know.

Frankly I'm really really just thinking of keeping my well running rebuilt 218 and exploring some hot rodding to it
Yet I don't want it to look hotrodded with dual carbs, specialized manifolds and such

Thinking just shaving the head a bit and finding a carb that bolts right on and gives a bit more HP

DO you know which ford carb fits that others talk about?

Have you Experimented with later dodge truck carbs that work? I mean what about the 251 engine carbs as supplied from factory?

Aren't they better performers?
