If your heating ducts are down there insulate them really well. Mine ran through an uninsulated garage. I boxed them in with 2” Hi R board and taped them with metallic duct tape. My cold air return ran through a joist bay in the garage ceiling, so I boxed and sealed it in then 2” of HiR board. Doing that killed the cold draft we had in the house.

I actually went through and added insulation in the attic and insulated the garage walls and ceiling. My heating bill is 40% or less of what it was. The garage ceiling was really bad with 3” of insulation and lots of air infiltration from uninsulated walls. The heating ducts were exposed to the insulated walls. It was really bad and that part of the house was always cold. I pulled all of the sheet rock and fixed it correctly with 10” of ceiling insulation and sealed everything. The first really cold morning my wife was screaming in our bedroom. I ran back to see what was wrong. She was screaming that the bedroom and bathroom were really warm for the first time.

Bottom line insulation more than pays for itself.
