Your best bet is to stay with a 4 speed transmission set up. Depending if you have an early or later crash box tranny in your truck, you can bolt up a Pilothouse era semi-synchro tranny or an M-37 tranny to your bellhousing. You will need to modify the brake and TC lever set up in some instances. No cutting, welding etc needs to be done on the frame for this mod. I will be doing this on my WC1/2 when I decide to get off my lazy a.. . LOL.
