I put a winch on craigslist once and got a email from a guy said he would send a check so I figured something was up so I would play along. I emailed back and said send the check he said ok when you get it cash it and send the extra amount paid to a address he would give i said ok In a couple days a federal Express big van showed up with the Wells Fargo check in a cardboard envelop. The check looked like it was made well I went to the bank and showed them the check they said do you want to cash it I said no I want to know if its good they said leave it and they would see. When I got back home they left a message that it was fraud. So I cost the scammer some money anyway
