Rear probably has more available parts than front axle

If shoes aren't available new then maybe you could have your old ones relined. Axles are Timken/Rockwell, which is now Meritor. I think Wagner actually made the brake components. The rears weren't much different than what came under most of the 2 & 3 ton 2wd grain trucks. You're not likely gonna find your parts at the local Autozone, these are of the "big rig" nature. I think wheel cylinders can be rebuilt.
