I just watched a couple Videos on the clutch packs. I never tore into it as deep as they show in them. I bet I blew a seal in the forward pack and that is why it can't make enough pressure to get reverse and 3rd right. I get some 3rd but I think that is because it is geared down and takes less HP to move the truck but 3rd uses a lot more HP and way more pressure to hold them. When I pull it to put the new one in I will look at theses seals for damage and also measure the gap in the clutch pack to make sure it is right. Then I will pull it all the way apart springs and all to get to those seals. Going to do a air test first I want to know why it is not locking up. This will tell me if there blown or leaking. Did not do the air test now I know how it is done. I just can't chance putting it in again and seeing it fail once more as I have bought the new one. I still want to know what I did wrong and will have a lot of time to do it later.
