It never came out the tail shaft before because I drained it before removing the Transfer Case. I knew the back is open to the tranny pan sump it pours out when you stand it on end to drop the clutch pack in even if you drained it. I am glad it was the drained fluid I was putting back in since it was still clean not the new stuff I have for the one I bought. Was not worried about over fill just putting back in what came out! Including what I had to drain from the Converter so I could put it on the shaft into the seal. It was 1 gallon and 2 quarts pan holds about 3 qts max then goes above the dip stick till you start it up and refill the cooler and converter! So I figure at least 3 plus Qts came out the open tail shaft housing.
