All sorts of newer vehicles seem to take a new style of headlight bulb. Every time I find either a new connection or some new trick that needs to be done to get the bulb out of the housing and some of these seem engineered to break. More frustrating is having to take out the intake, a battery and the water reservoir to get at a front light bulb.
So I go out to change the bulb on a 2014 Honda fit and I figure I have to fight with it , take it out and then go to the parts store..........nope it takes a H4 bulb just like my Carryall. It is easy to get at and simple to replace. i suspect Honda must have stolen the idea off a Dodge truck.
I am glad I picked up a case of 50 h4 bulbs at a swap meet. I think I got the whole set for 2 or 5 bucks.
I sure appreciate good thoughtful design......like the PWs have.
