I think its the original tank, its a 36 gallon tank, but it is dented up a bit and it has been patched up a couple places.
I looked at the lower straps out in the garage earlier and one strap is bent up pretty bad while the other one is bent, but still has it's mostly original shape/bends in it. I think they put the wood blocks there to take up slack when they last repaired the original tank.
I think the 18 gallon stainless tank will be fine for what I'll drive the truck for. Until I drive it to Iowa for the rally, then I'll wished I left the 36 gallon in the truck!
