I can remember when 750 16 tires were closer to 32" diameter. From Paul's message we can see that today's versions are running about 1 1/2" narrower. But wouldn't that make your reading lower than actual rather than higher? You might try holding the speedometer on 60 on a highway that shows consecutive mile markers. Or if you know a police officer you could ask him to read you on his radar. Or a GPS.
