Hi Todd,
No, I dont believe I can get the gear out without major dismantling of the transfer case. There are 2 different gears listed and recommended gear is used with 17 other pinions in my book, the other one is used with 6 other pinions. Playing the odds, I am suspecting I have the correct gear. The other gear is never listed with this pinion for any gear ratio or tire size.
