a while back i posted about a gremlin in the drivers door on my dodge. based on internet searching, i changed the door switch. no help. next step was to replace the door harness. no help. next step was to replace the door module. no help. i relented and took it to my dealer, who has a good tech. he worked the problem backward from the under hood power center and found power at the box, but none at the door. further testing showed a failure in the wires going to the door under the battery on the driver side. it was reported that battery acid damaged the wires. wires were cut, replaced with new soldered in and then shrink wrapped. was happy to pay as they only charged for labor. I took a gamble on parts as they were less than the min diagnostic time. bottom line, all good and sometimes the dealer knows best.........
