The wheelbase of a B1PW126 is 8” longer than a ‘56 (not ‘55) half or 3/4 ton Ford long bed (118”). This truck I bet sits on its stock frame and is like others we’ve seen over on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts (FTE) forum that were converted to 4WD back in the day using war surplus PW components. These trucks always show up in the Pacific Northwest, are mid year 1950s, and have no badging to identify the conversion company. But better pictures of others we’ve seen show the conversions were not shade tree chop jobs. Just have no idea who did the conversions. Stu
