The PG ignition swithces came with two different nuts on them, one has a hex shape, easily removed with a wrench.
The other style is pictured above.
There are 4 indents around the nut, and the rest is smooth and round.
I have damaged all of these that I removed to some extent, and I need a better way to get them off. Another modified socket like the wiper switch tool is a possibility. But since these are indents on the outside, not the top, much more careful machine work will be needed, plus a more exact size socket to start with.
Any thoughts?
I was given the idea of using a peice of fine sandpaper to protect the nut while using a wrench, but this is not as positive of a tool as one that fit the notches.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Eric
