I didn't have quite the 'knee-jerk' reaction that Judd had, I've already stated in my post that I want a tailgate for my truck, and even a repo is going to run around $300, so I wanted to get as close to that as possible. Judd's inital offer of $100 was fine, but even he knows I could get more for it, and he doesn't even have a truck for it! (wanted to hang it in the living room... I'll let his wife deal with that one!!) The reference to 'cutting it up', all I'd have to do is trim about a 1/2" off of the top of each side, and I think it would close. It'd be too high, but it'd work for now. I took your message to be derogatory in the fact that, as Judd mentioned, folks that are in cahoots together to drive the bid up for others. That's not what Judd had in mind at all, he just bid his $100 offer. Not my definition of 'double teaming'.
