Rep. Bob Stump, Arizona Republican and chairman of the House Armed Services
Committee. He said he would not allow the demil section(1062) to be in the final version, and he apparently did just that. Most of us aren't from Arizona, and obviously there were other congressmen involved in 1062s removal, but we all owe thanks to this man for being a sane thinker amongst the emotional insanity that got this thing in there in the first place.
