Thanks Tom(and Todd).....both your posts have helped some! I need an email addy to reach ya Tom. Click on mine and drop me a note! :) We'll see what we can work out.

As for the axles....I'm figuring D60....at least for the rear. I'm leaning toward that for the front too, but not certain. The diffs are definitely more Dana shaped than what I figure Chryco would be(from pics I've seen). I checked another source that seemed to indicate 4.10 or 4.56 ratio for the 200(3/4ton) series of that year.

They are definitely full floaters on this, but I didn't count the nuts on the outside. The rims are definitely 8 luggers, but that's standard 3/4ton+ fare.

I've heard these are drum brakes up front. AND, that it's feasible to use 81+(or somewhere thereabouts) disks from a donor....is that pretty easy to do or??? I figure that's what this other guy wants eventually, but just wondering.

I'll have to do some more sleuthing and may just end up with this truck and find out more later!

BTW...the exhaust is nearly new on it too! I really wish it were solid enough to consider rehabbing, but then, some end up helping "other" trucks keep going by being donors too!

Thanks again!
