Howdy all. Please forgive my Mopar ignorance....I'm more of a Jeep(full size) guy....though I have dabbled some in the K-cars! :) Anyway....got some questions on a Power Wagon. It's near me and pretty shot(body-wise), but I figure the drivetrain is pretty good. Another FSJ(Full size jeep)er is interested in the axles(if they're what he wants) and I might be able to get this and trade him for some Jeep parts(actually an almost complete J10). He's got a 1/2 J10 as well and wants to put 3/4t or 1t axles under it. The PW might be the candidate. Sorry if this sounds horrid, but maybe you can help with deciphering this one.

The VIN is : W26BE3S160025
T.O.N. is G6834501
GVW is 8000 lbs.
Front GW is 3500
Rear GW is 5360

As far as I can tell this is likely a late '73, but could it be a '74? I figure the VIN would tell us, but not sure.

This is a crew cab with a V8, automatic and 4wd. I couldn't verify which V8....I'm guessing 318, but wondering if it's a 360. Should be a 727 tranny and NP205 if I've gotten the right info elsewhere. Is the 205 "divorced" as I've read?

What axles would likely be under this? We've been figuring D60 rear, but not 100% sure. How about the front end? What ratio is, or is likely, the axles? Also....only tag I could read on the rear axle says "Use Limitied Slip Diff. Lube". Does that mean this is likely an LSD in this? I couldn't read the other tag...not much there!

Anyway...mainly looking for info on the axles. The body really is shot.....would even need some work to be a wood hauler! :) Drivetrain is good probably good though. Glass is all good. Anybody interested in the engine, tranny, t-case? I doubt I'd be able to use any of that on my Jeeps. This is in NW Wisconsin, BTW.

Thanks for any input....
