I sealed my tank 4 years ago with a product from Bill Hirsch Automotive, 396 Littleton Ave., Newark, NJ. 1-800-828-2061. His gas tank sealer is approved for vehicles as well as aircraft. It's resistant to all fuels, even the oxygenated stuff here in CA. I've used fuel from just about every maker and so far the sealer still looks good in the tank. The one to use is the Alcohol resistant sealer, product# GTS-05. You'll only need a quart to do the job. Don't have your tank hot dipped. The chemicals will eat off the inside OEM coating, instead use his Gas Tank Etch product# TE-01 for preparing the tank for the coating. You'll need some tennis balls with duck tape to seal the holes one the sealer is inside for sloshing around.
