Back in the early 80's we had a good old West MI-Lake effect series of snow days from school, three if I remember correctly. On the third day the neighbor across the street had all of him 4x4 buddies over to see who could make it to the back of the corn field. After watching them for around a half an hour, my brother decided to get out his Jeep {sorry it ain't a PW, But...}. The old '47 CJ2A with a 289 from a '6? Mustang, pulled into the front of the field, He stopped to lock everything in and proceeded to drive to the back of the field make a big loop and drive back to the front of the field. He was able to motor right past all the other kids with their fancy new Fords, Chebbys and yes the neighbors Dodge. He never had to stop.

People give up on the oldies to quickly. They made them right back then, that's when ride comfort was the least important thing, doing it's job was the first.
