Mike, Don't get me wrong...I agree with you. All I'm asking is who specializes in modernizing these engines to a small degree. I don't want this truck different in any aspect other than to be able to drive it to the odd PW round-up. I don't want super swampers on it, I don't want a V8 in it, just simply to be able to maintain 50 on the road.
I have 4 of these trucks & love everything about them...it just seems to me that somewhere out there someone knows lots about bringing these engines into the 21 century, as for the brakes & running gear, mine work fine. If it becomes an issue, I'll be back asking who's the best person to ask advise about that short of adding disc brakes or some other assinine solution.
