Reminds me - Saw a kid with a 2&1/2 ton Kaiser shop truck trying to chat up a harbor freight clerk while she was helping him load stuff. No way did she want to climb in back and see more of the sweet camping setup. :)
Re the rough ride, I agree that a little lower pressure will help a lot with the ride. Also newer tires with softer/thinner sidewalls.
