You and your parents are fortunate that you have circumstances that allow caring for them and fitting in a little time on your truck now and then. They, because they are around ones who care for them and you, because you will feel better about what you did to help them.
Our 4 kids and families organized a family dinner for us to celebrate 50 years recently. It meant more to my wife and me than they will probably know, to have them do that and to be able to be there with them.
