however the crocs are there but usually in the estuaries and they are not really salt water crocs but they do go out in the ocean i have never seen em out in the ocean at this particular spot but i have seen them in the estuaries which you have to take a jet ski or boat out to get to the outside of the river mouth where the sand bar is and it is way out there probably a mile from shore
they usually limit themselves to the estuaries and river mouths(where the best waves are cuz of the sand bars) but they do migrate from one river mouth to the next
i have seen crocs in the ocean here in jaco where i live and playa hermnosa
in the ole days folks say a 3 or 4 meter croc and they would take it out but now it is illegal and they have proliferated and there are 20 ft. plus crocs
getting kind of out of hand
