Hi George if it does not show any sign of leaking at all the wheels it is probably the power brake booster, how much fluid does it use. And if the booster fills up with brake fluid the vacuum line will suck it into the engine and make it smoke some.If you pull the vacuum line off you can see if it is wet inside. If that is the problem and you don't want to replace it you can hook the lines direct eliminating the power booster
