Don't be surprised if the bore has enlarged.
The hub is softer than the race.
This spinning is not uncommon problem especially if the bearings were run too tight.
First get the correct bearing race and see how it fits.
If it's still loose then used the bearing locktight after you take a punch and dimple the bore all around to close it up.
It will be fine.
Now the dealers are not going to do this and will want to sell you a hub.
That's fine depending on the hub.
10,12K hubs are pricey, smaller ones not so much.
