A couple times when I put new brake lines in I could get very little pedal after trying many things I pumped the pedal as fast as I could with my foot about a 3 to 4 inch stroke for a minute or more waited a few minutes and did it again and the brakes kept getting better.I don't know how this worked for me but it must somehow get the trapped air moving.
