OT but dodge

My son has a 2000 dodge 1500. Has a 5.9 with a 46RE transmission. it will start in first and go to second. Then no higher. Will not shift into 3rd, 4th or O.D.
Fluid is pink, Not brown or burnt smelling and up to the proper level. He's had it about 3 years.
