A company here in Seattle Gelelex? They have a database for DNA vs drugs and drugs vs drugs. You register your DNA and different drugs you are going to take. It tells you if you get flagged for things matching up like "Don't take drug X if you are taking drug Y with this DNA thing" kind of stuff. Or things like reduce drug X for DNA type Y because you are going to need less.
Medicare used to pay for it so doctors were using it. Then Medicare changed their policies and decided not to use it anymore. So they lost most of their customers. Not only that, Medicare decided they wanted all of the money back for all the old customers and sued the company.
Big disaster. She's off working in another field now. It was a little rough on her. First job outta' college and gets involved with a dying corporation.
