I may be heading out to McAlister spring in the next few weeks and headed up to the interior for a run and a bit of camping in the next month.
Honestly checking out other folks ideas and builds will save you months of time. The Dodge or Chev NV4500 2 wheel drives are fine but there are more rebuild parts for the Dodge unit. I do not think the Chev front input is available any more.
There is a fair chance I will have the truck at the coastal swap meet this year.
