Thanks, My low beam turns on, then when the dimmer switch is pressed the low goes off but the high doesn't come on. If I jumper the hot to the high leg on the switch, the bulb lights up so I know it's either the brand new switch is bad or I have it connected wrong. I guess I need to buy that new multimeter, the old one will not measure resistance.
