PW civillian cabs are fitted on the WWII WC 3/4 ton rails every so often. But by the time of the Korean War the military wanted a an upgrade and got it with the M37 and its variations.
But as mentioned, they are different in many ways from the '46 to '68 Civ. power wagons that used WWII components extensively.
